FROG technology
All titles in the catalog are available in FROG format, which includes around fifteen reading aids to facilitate decoding, comprehension, and navigation. Each reader can customize the book to suit their needs with a single click.
Created with experts in linguistics and cognitive science, our patented format has already proven its effectiveness and benefits to our users.

Our expertise
FROG technology was developed in 2016 and is directly inspired by the methods used by speech therapists. Based on the observation that there is a limited range of products available to people with dyslexia, MOBiDYS wanted to create an interactive digital book where readers can choose the tool that suits them best.
This innovative project was carried out in collaboration with researchers Pascale Colé in cognitive science, Frédérique Kupra in design, and Béatrice Daille and Solenn Quiniou in language science. The use of digital technology makes it possible to design personalized solutions that meet the specific needs of each reader profile.
Quinze outils d’aide à la lecture
Chaque livre au format FROG embarque un set complet d’aides à la lecture personnalisable selon les besoins du lecteur et qui reposent sur trois piliers :

Making it easier to read
Decoding support confirms its effectiveness on the fluency of dyslexics or anyone who has more or less difficulty reading.
We offer three different fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, or Opendyslexic), text spacing for better readability, syllabic coloring, and the ability to enlarge or reduce the text.

Improve focus
It is difficult for dyslexics to concentrate, which makes reading difficult for the reader.
We offer several solutions: a reading window to highlight the unit of meaning being read, alternating colored lines of text, a reading ruler to help follow the text, and inverted contrast.
The goal is for the reader to identify linguistic segments.

Increase understanding
L
The main difficulty for dyslexics is matching a sound to a spelling, so using the auditory channel with a human voice allows learners to associate and identify sounds with syllables and vice versa.
Audio allows learners to bypass the decoding of written text and access comprehension directly. Other tools are available to increase comprehension: definitions to explain difficult vocabulary, and highlighted units of meaning.
